About

My name is Logan MacPhail, current senior at Grand Valley State University. I am in pursuit of getting accepted into GVSU's Clinical Dietetics masters programs to graduate with a masters in Clinical Dietetics to work as a Registered Dietician. I am from a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where health and nutrition is of little importance which pointed me in this direction for a career to show individuals like in my hometown how important nutrition is.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My goals are to begin working as a Registered Dietician (RD) in the pediatrics floor in a hospital. I have always had a passion for helping children in need and hope to apply my knowledge to help them in need.

Graduate school interests

I have applied for the masters program here at GVSU for Clinical Dietetics.

Outside the classroom

My most significant hobbies in my life today are fitness and nutrition. I go to the gym every day and put a lot of time into the foods I put into my body. Something that is apart of having this as a hobby is that it helps me continuously learn in the field of nutrition so I'm more adapt to help my patients in the future.
