Lora Tlais

I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the Baruch College Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. I previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where I built a strong foundation in legal systems, policy, and public institutions. My experience includes legal work at the Staten Island District Attorney’s Office, paralegal work in private practice, and financial analysis in a tax firm. I have also maintained consistent employment at Starbucks, where I developed leadership and communication skills in a fast paced environment. As a first generation college student fluent in Arabic and certified in mediation, I am especially interested in roles that involve public service, policy, and community engagement.
