About

My passion for children has and always ran deep for me. In my opinion, children are immensely vital to our future because they are our future. The children of today’s society will soon grow up to run and operate our future society, so their well being is more important than anything. Therefore, I have chosen this career path to ensure the well-being and stability of the children in our communities. I am doing this with the purpose of being one of the individuals who will look after and ensure that our children are well off, with the hopes of inspiring others to do the same. I hope to teach others about the significance of children in order to motivate more individuals to come together and look out for our children, not just medically, but also mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. As a result, our future society will be a better place. My education is extremely vital to me because it is the foundation to everything I am working toward, and the base to how I will better my community. The passion and mission I acquire for serving children is vital.

Goals and interests

Career goal

As a current freshman at Xavier University of Louisiana, my major is chemistry, on a pre med track, with a minor in biology. Coming out of high school and going into college, picking this major was not at all difficult for me. This is because I have been sure about the field I want to establish for a long time and this major will help me to do so. For as long as I can remember, I have been overly passionate about children and their well-being, therefore, I will be taking up a future career in pediatric medicine. During my undergraduate years, my goal is to maintain an accumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher, and pursue a total of four internships that involve hands-on medical field experience. Additionally, these internships will include children, allowing me to familiarize myself with the exposure of working with kids. I also plan to participate in multiple leadership opportunities much like the pre college leadership programs here at Xavier. The role of this leader is to mentor and guide the new students of the freshmen class, in a fun, responsible, energetic, and cheerful way. After I finish my four year undergraduate pre med education at Xavier, I plan to continue my educational path through four years of medical school, graduating with a doctorate degree. Soon after, I plan to start my residency program at any hospital that will allow me the opportunity.
