About

Currently, I am preparing to graduate with a Master in Business Administration. I Have 17 years of retail experience, dedicating myself to grow professionally at Wal-Mart Inc. I moved up the ranks and held different management positions, relocating several times to different areas where there was opportunity for career growth and development. Prior to my management career, I worked for the Walt Disney Company as an intern. This experience allowed me to embrace the Disney culture and practice the learned core values of the company by performing fieldwork at the different attraction parks. I was assigned to the inauguration staff of Animal Kingdom where I helped teach, train and develop the new cast members joining the team. I focused on teaching the Disney culture, promoted diversity and offered exceptional guest service. I was fortunate to be part of the initial structure and procedure development and operations of the park. On the process I was able to strengthen my guest service skills, learn to network, embrace diversity, lead, teach train and develop staff and build effective teams. My desire to pursue a business administration career has its roots thanks to the opportunity I had of working as an office and library clerk after graduating from high school in 1992. Ever since then, I been working non stop until last year when I decided to update my education and add to my career goals an an MBA degree. With this, I hope to have the opportunity to tap into different industries that can allow me to continue to grow professionally as well as expanding my knowledge and experience.
