Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is into Clinical Social Work. By obtaining my LCSW, I will be able to work one-on-one with children and families that have experienced trauma. My focus will be in areas of child abuse/neglect, domestic violence, sexual assault, and families.
- Graduate school interests
I have strong interests in clinical work such as psychopharmacology, the neurobiology of trauma, lifespan development, and human behavior. In addition, I am very political minded and closely follow our nations toughest political controversies. Politics hugely impacts human behavior and the lives that we all lead as well as what the future brings for generations to come. I want to have a strong voice in keeping bipartisan views while maintaining a strong sense of justice for our worlds population that feels voiceless.
