About

I am in my last semester at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. After receiving my BA in December 2020, I will be getting my Masters in December 2021. My major is Native American studies with a minor in social work. I plan on using my education to further enhance my skills and knowledge within my current employment position as well as any future employment positions. I work full time for the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department as one of the victim services coordinators. In this position we help Native American victims of any crime within the Chickasaw Nation boundaries. I help victims navigate the police or court system. I will attend court hearings with the victim as emotional support, assist with paperwork filing for protective orders or police reports, assist with any other paperwork that may develop, offer referrals when needed for assistance and locate answers to any questions a victim may have. Overall, I love to be helpful and lend a helping hand to others in hopes to see them strive and rise higher.
