About

Emerho Lucy Eguono is a prolific writer with experience teaching English and Literature and working as a Digital Marketing Officer. My current pursuit of a Master's degree in English at Oklahoma State University, focusing on African American Literature, reflects my dedication to exploring and promoting underrepresented voices and narratives. This specialized program has provided me with a deeper understanding of the historical, cultural, and social contexts surrounding African American literature. My research area examines the contemporary Black Diasporic Migration. I seek to study the systematic trend of Blacks migrating to Diaspora and provide research showing the marginal gap and why Black Migrants remain in Diaspora, and why some return to their Mother’s land after their stay in Diaspora.

I have had the privilege of teaching English and Literature, sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with students at various levels. As a teacher, I have facilitated classroom discussions, delivered engaging lessons, and encouraged critical thinking skills. By creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, I fostered an appreciation for literature and language in my students, helping them develop practical communication skills. With a passion for supporting students' academic growth, I am an experienced writing tutor with a proven track record of helping individuals improve their writing skills. Through my expertise, I have successfully guided students in various writing disciplines, including academic essays, research papers, creative writing, and professional documents that empower them to become confident and effective writers. I have provided personalized guidance, constructive feedback, suggestions, resources, and instruction to students of different backgrounds and skill levels. By tailoring my approach to each student's unique needs, I have helped students refine their ideas, enhance their clarity and coherence, and polish their final drafts.

In addition, as part of my work experience, I am passionate about driving online growth and maximizing brand visibility. Throughout my career as a Digital Marketing Officer, I have successfully executed strategies related to content creation, paid ads, social media management, SEO services, copywriting, and overall online growth. I deeply understand digital platforms, consumer behavior, and the ever-evolving landscape of online and offline marketing.
