About
Greetings, I'm Luis Eduardo Nevarez. I moved to the United States when I was 11 years old to learn English, but I ended up remaining. I'm now 19 years old and reside in the tiny city of Sunland Park, New Mexico. I am the eldest of four sisters. My paternal grandmother asked me if I wanted to go live with her in El Paso, Texas, and I said yes, which is how I got up here in the United States. My first trip to the United States was when I went with my father to Odessa, Texas, but it only lasted 5 months since I missed my mother and I end up returning to Mexico. I am happy to be a member of my family because I am the first one to attend a university in the United States.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job after finishing college is to be a Policy Consultant but after being a Policy Consultant I plan to try another position like Policy Analyst etc.
- Graduate school interests
My grad school interest is to get a Master's in Public Administration and Policy and a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy at American University.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies are reading, dancing, baking, doing math problems, spending time with my family, and making new friends.
