About
In the fall semester, I will be a senior at California State University San Marcos. Before this, I obtained an Associate's Degreen in Psychology from MiraCosta Community College in Oceanside CA. I have lived in California since 2009 when my family and I moved from Mexico. As of today, I volunteer at a lab that focuses on mental health issues among Mexian-American pregnant women and the effects that the process of acculturation (integrating the values of a host culture to the values of your culture of origin) have on maternal and infant health. My future plans are to obtain my Bachelor's Degree and apply to a Ph.D program.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My goal is to work as a psychology professor at university or community college while conducting research.
- Graduate school interests
Although my plan is to get into a Ph.D program, I am also open to get into a Master's program in Psychology.
- Outside the classroom
I am absolutely a family person, so any free time I get, I use to spend time with my family and do activities together. Going to the beach is the best activity there can be for me.
