About
My name is Luke Martin. I am currently 18 years old and am one of seven children in my family. Ever since I was very young science has been a passion of mine and I always knew I wanted a career that required a lot of it. I loved Biology specifically and took it three times in school. I also had a passion for writing and wrote many papers that won several awards. I also love traveling and hope to one day be able to travel all over the world and see many things I've only dreamed about seeing. I graduated high school with a 3.75 GPA and have spent my summer preparing for college. I am really looking forward to starting this new chapter of my life and cannot wait to see what the future might hold.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan on becoming a general physician and working for organizations like 'Doctors Without Borders' traveling all over the world helping patients that require medical care where there is none. I also plan on eventually establishing my own organization like 'Doctors Without Borders'.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on finishing my Undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then moving on to UAB's school of Medicine and pursuing a medical degree.

Writing, Hiking, Reading, Playing with my siblings, spending time with friends.
