Lydia Burdock

High school senior at South Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia. I have played competitive/travel soccer for over 13 years. I have played varsity for 2 years, and was a manager for my current high school’s team after transferring schools. I completed the Teaching as a Profession Pathway, where I interned at a local elementary school in a 3rd grade classroom. Currently, I am interning at an engineering/architecture firm. Working with professionals, I am receiving an inside look into my intended job path. So far, I have received a brief introduction into AutoCAD. I am able to pursue this opportunity through Internship Forsyth. Under which, I am exposed to various volunteer opportunities in the community. I was a member of FCCLA for 2 years. My junior year, I was treasurer of the club and organized various volunteer events/opportunities for our members to get involved in.
