Lydia Parker

Hello, my name is Lydia Parker, I am 16-years-old and I am currently a senior in high school. I was homeschooled throughout my life and have been homeschooled through high school. I attended Biola Youth Academics in high school until my school shut down to do financial reasons in 2019. I began attending HSLDA online academy in the fall of 2019 in order to finish my final year of high school. Throughout high school, I took AP and Honors courses and enjoyed them very much.

In my spare time, I have been a Teacher's Assistant for Earth Science, Life Science, and Pre-Algebra, I have been a Leader In Training at the Boys and Girls Club of America, a mentor for children at the Boys and Girls Club, and I have volunteered at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California.

When I am not volunteering, I am practicing guitar, piano, or singing. If I am not practicing my musical hobbies, I am reading autobiographies, stories by Tolkien or C.S. Lewis, or perhaps some historical fiction. I am an avid reader who will read just about anything I can get my hands on. Because of my reading hobby, I tend to write quite a bit and tend to write a lot of poetry, stories, and stories.
