Goals and interests
- Career goal
I currently hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), but I seek to further my education through a doctorate in psychiatric nursing (DNP). As a DNP, I would be able to provide care for those who are struggling through today's social media culture, economic hardships, and our national mental health crisis. I hope to gain plenty of experience and knowledge in this field in order to educate others on how to care for their neighbors, friends, and family.
- Graduate school interests
One day, I hope to graduate with a Psychiatric Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree along with a Master of Science in Nurse Teaching (MSN).
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy learning from others and with that, my current hobbies consist of learning American Sign Language with an extraordinary deaf teach who is getting into healthcare field. We get to learn so much from each other. In addition, I enjoy playing the piano and learning every 'tick of the trade' from my extremely knowledgeable piano teacher.
