Macy Grimsrud

I am a senior nursing student at Nova Southeastern University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with an expected graduation in August 2026. I have maintained a strong academic record with a 3.9 GPA while completing an accelerated nursing program. I previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Physiology from University of Iowa, which provided a strong foundation for my clinical and academic success.

In addition to my studies, I have gained diverse clinical experience in emergency and acute care settings, currently working as an EMT in a pediatric emergency department. My experiences have strengthened my commitment to evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and service to underserved populations. I am passionate about advancing health education, prevention, and access to care both locally and globally, and I aspire to use my nursing career to make a meaningful impact in resource-limited communities.
