waitress/hostess at Saltgrass Steakhouse was the place I worked during my first year of college. I really enjoyed this experience as it was something I never expected. I relearned new systems even though they are owned by the same company. Greeted guest, brought them to tables, helped with take out orders. Soon enough I was promoted to becoming a server. They were willing to give me first time experience after such little time. I exceeded my managers expectations, and became a loved member within the community. I would recommend food, take care of the guests all the way through until the walked out the door. It was our priority to make sure they had a good time.

About

For the first time in my life, I received a 4.0 during my first year of college. I saw this as an opportunity to excel as all my family, and peers doubted me all throughout high school. I honestly didn’t think I could focus and not stress out, but I persevered and strive to do this again.

  • waitress/hostess

I worked at a fine dining restaurant; Genesee Chart House. I loved working around people and I thought hosting could be an amazing start to a look inside the restaurant industry. I greeted all guests, started conversations while bringing them to tables and nicely demonstrating the highlights of the night. After going off to college for a year I came back and was promoted to serving. I worked the happy hour, which I handled 13 tables at most. I never had one unhappy guest who didn’t still love the service being provided.

Evergreen Clothing Company, was a local shop that was needed support during the time of end of covid. I greeted every guest that walked through the door and walked around the store constant checking customers needs. I would also work the register and be able to work with technology at this company. I did do this part time and left for some time and came back. It was a very family friendly experience!
