About
I am in my second year of college. I study psychology and plan to become a developmental psychologist. I was diagnosed with two learning disabilities when I was young, so I want to help children who are diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disabilities as well. I do not come from a high income family. Therefore, paying for my education is becoming more and more difficult. I hope that being a member of Honor Society will help me to finish paying for me education and connect me with others in similar situations.

phi theta kappa honor society
I was accepted into Phi Theta Kappa in the spring of 2022. I have never met a bigger honor than to be invited into this society! Being a member has helped me to become more confident in my academic abilities, and it has inspired me to work even harder!
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to go into developmental psychology. I have always wanted to help people with different disorders and diaabilities. I would like to primarily work with disabled children. I believe that everyone deserves to get the help they need from a young age. I grew up with two learning disabilities that had me struggling with my school work. I also had a difficult time being social and making friends due to my diagnoses. I always received some help from school academically, but I do not believe that my schools gave me the proper extra help. I believe that I needed further assistance with social interactions, anxiety, and how to work past my disabilities. I would love to help others that might find themselves in the same position. I want to make a change in the world and in people. I have no doubt that my studies will help me reach that goal!
- Graduate school interests
I intend to go to grad school once I earn my bachelor's degree. I would like to concentrate in lifespan development. That would be the best program for me so I could gain further knowledge on how we develop psychologically.
- Outside the classroom
Outside of school, I have many passions. I love to draw, crochet, read about psychological topics, research, and hang out with my friends.
