About
My name is Madilyn but most people call me Madi. I just finished my community college journey at Diablo Valley College this past spring after 2 years and will be transferring to UC San Diego pursuing Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering. I am a very versatile person who loves to be active in many aspects of my life whether that may be working in my school's lab or coaching kids on the soccer field. Everyday, I continue to find joy by learning new things in my work and social life.

Honors and awards

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Biomedical engineering is a captivating and dynamic field that marries the realms of biology, medicine, and engineering in a symphony of innovation and problem-solving. Biomedical engineering is a very broad field but the avenue that I gravitate towards is the product development side. I am hoping to work for some biotech company in order to develop cutting-edge technologies like wearable health devices, personalized medicine solutions, and advanced surgical techniques to improve human health and well-being.
- Outside the classroom
I am a huge sports fan! I grew up playing soccer on a competitive level since I was like 4 years old, but I also watch all types of sports in my free time (Warriors and 49ers fan). I would consider myself to be both a homebody and active person. I love playing video games and watching movies when I am indoors, but I also enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family.
