Goals and interests

Career goal

I plan to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Nursing and my Associate's degree in Spanish in order to work in an Emergency Room. The combination of a Nursing degree and a Spanish degree will enable me to communicate fluently with Spanish-speakers, helping them receive the care they need. I plan to use both degrees to travel to low-income Spanish-speaking countries on short term mission trips to serve rural areas in obtaining medical attention.

Graduate school interests

I have considered continuing my education through a graduate school at either OU or OSU by becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy reading books about historical medicine; it helps me appreciate medical advances in technology and knowledge! I also look forward to outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. Most of all, I love spending quality time with friends and family.
