I am currently a sophomore forensic anthropology major with a minor in mathematics at Baylor University. I plan to continue my education in graduate school, however, there are several programs I am interested in to include: forensic psychology, forensic anthropology and physical therapy. I have always had an interest in forensics for as long as I could remember, growing up watching any and every crime show, solving large-scale problems, and working in a team with various skill sets peaked my interest in forensics. My interest in physical therapy comes from a family background in medicine. My mother is a cardiopulmonary rehabilitator. Growing up, she would take us to the hospital she worked in, because of this I have always been exposed to the medical sphere. Moreover, my interest in physical therapy also stems from my innate characteristic to help people and push people with my tough love attitude, whether it's physical or emotional. However, before I pursue a graduate degree I plan to join the Peace Corps upon graduation. I believe God has been calling me to go out in the world and relieve those in desperate need for many years now. It has always been my dream to go out in the world and experience all sorts of cultures but the opportunity to make a difference for those who are less fortunate than I is a bonus and gives more fulfillment and purpose.
