Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education while attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I admire the idea of helping others and I believe that the depth of a genuine relationship is really crucial. I am eager to get into the classroom and have my own set of students. I'm also looking forward to learning more about each of my students and their interests beyond school. Overall, I picked this profession because I want to watch them grow as a learner, and I enjoy the concept of being able to expand someone's confidence as a career.

Outside the classroom

I love traveling, hiking, hammocking, thrifting, binge watching tv shows, going to the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and eating sushi! I grew up in a very religious household, and continue to grow deeper in my faith to this day. Five words to describe me are caring, passionate, loving, welcoming and hard working. I really enjoy helping others achieve their goals. I wanted to be a nurse for the longest time, and even got my CNA but changed my mind about what I want to do in the future.
