These foundations have given me the greatest joy in applying for clinical use: maximizing movement while supporting rehabilitation. An important section thus far during my time here was musculoskeletal anatomy, which taught me about how the body adapts and repairs itself, with a sense of perspective. Additional activities that cemented my desire to become actively engaged in research towards injury prevention and rehabilitation included working in motor control labs where I explored the nervous system’s role in coordinating movement, which led to me wanting to do some work in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
