About
My name is Manuela, I am from Guatemala. When I was fourteen years old I moved to the United States. I started studying in the United States when I was fourteen. I graduated High School in 2020. I learned English as a third language when I came in the United States. My first language is Q'anjobal is a Mayan language, my second language is Spanish, and I am still learning my third language which is English. I am planning to major in Psychology, I studied at Santa Ana College, I graduated in 2023. I am going to start my university journey in fall 2023.

phi theta kappa honor society
Phi theta kappa honor society is the international honor society of students attending open-access institutions and seeking associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, or other college credentials. To be able to be part of this program you must have a 3.0 GPA.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology. To prepare, I have taken 4 classes in the psychology department while at Santa Ana College. In fact, I will be graduating from SAC with my associate in psychology. I am willing to work in a company where I can help others to find strategies to focus on their workplace and not forgetting about themselves. Since It is highly important to take care of ourselves, which this helps to have a good job environment without stress.
- Graduate school interests
My plan is to earn my bachelors degree in psychology and I will go straight to grad school to earn my PhD. I am still looking forward to which field of Psychology I want to focus on. After earning my PhD. I am willing to travel the world to get experience and be part of scientific research because I have always wanted to be part of a research which in this case I have to earn my doctorate.

I enjoy reading books, going out for walks, cook foods, learning new languages.
