Goals and interests

Career goal

I am planning to become a historian or professor of history. With the knowledge gained in my major and by learning about history through my course work I can teach history to the next generation. I currently volunteer at a musem which is part of a historical society. I enjoy that work very much. Working at a musem would be wonderful fit for me as I could conutine to share my knowledge. I enjoy research and studying especially the Civil War.

Graduate school interests

Graduate school interests are to attend my alma mater at Concordia University Wisconsin, or attend the University Of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I will continue to study history. I intend to study The Civil War as my main area of study.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy learning about anything new. I am an avid reader. I prefer real books. I have a vast array of history books in my library.
I enjoy researching new areas of knowledge as I learn from my course work at college. For example, after taking the course about
the Sports of the World, I continue to research about a variety of sports I was not exposed to before.
I enjoy attending musical events. I am a singer. I love to sing. I have taken voice lessons for many years. I have competed in music competitions with success (star firsts) I have sung with my church's youth worship team.
I have my second degree Black Belt in TaeKwon Do.
