Marcela Czekalski Hornung

Very young, I discovered a big motivation in my life: the desire of helping people and to use my knowledge to improve people's life. It took me some time to discover what path should be taken. In my senior year in college, I found a new passion. I was in love with the human body and the health science. I believe that I was not the one that chose health science, but health science chose me.It was not a simple choice to be made, many obstacles had to be overcome. The dream was bigger and more powerful than the times I thought in giving up because of any difficultly on the road. My dream is not in becoming rich or a famous professional, my wish is to help people and be memorable. I wish in using my capacity to have empathy with others to see, feel and help my patients. I wish in being a tool for hope for families that relay in your knowledge to save one of their family members. I wish to give the answer that my patients seek. I wish to be the hand that the patient feel comfortable to hold. I wish in having the knowledge to seek and solve the problem.
