Marcelo Florido

I intend to pursue a respectable career in cardiology. I am particularly interested in understanding the complexities of the heart and treating cardiovascular diseases. My main priority is to save lives through my hard work and intellectual knowledge based off my skills learned through experience and studying. I am committed to not only promote heart health all around but see the smiles of someone’s or someone close to that person’s life being spared from the horrors of heart failure.

I am appealed to multiple, preferably in-state. University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Baylor College of Medicine (Houston), University of Texas SouthWestern Medical Center, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston), Texas Tech University Health Science Center. I am fascinated by all these colleges listed; no college should be limited as I know I can do more. University of Texas at Austin has always been my favorite choice.

My hobbies play a big role in my character and I love what I do for my extracurricular activities. Examples: hiking, camping, cooking, reading, weightlifting, cardio, dieting, American Football, and my favorite, fashion.
