About

Hello, my name is Maria Lozada Irenes, and I am thrilled to be part of this Honor Society. I am an ambitious and driven individual who is dedicated to pursuing academic excellence and making a positive impact in my community.

Throughout my educational journey, I have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. Although I experienced personal difficulties during my academic career, I have recovered with a high standing academic record.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I have actively engaged in extracurricular activities that have allowed me to develop valuable skills and contribute to my community. I have been an active member of a community service group where I have held a leadership positions. They include the group I co-founded called Lil Planters, which focused on planting community gardens in low-income communities experiencing food swamps. This experience has not only honed my leadership and teamwork abilities but has also taught me the importance of collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

In addition to my involvement in school activities, I have dedicated my time to volunteer work, supporting causes that are meaningful to me. I have had the opportunity to work with Virginia Marx Children Center, where I contributed to aiding Head and Assistant Teachers in classroom duties and responsabilities. As a result of my commitment to this opportunity, I was quickly afforded with a job position with this organization. This experience has instilled in me a deep sense of empathy, social responsibility, and a strong desire to make a positive change in the world.

Looking forward, I aspire to pursue a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a career in Human Resources or other related paths. I am excited about the opportunity to further my education and positively impact the world, and I am grateful for any support provided.
