Goals and interests

Career goal

My career goal is to become a higher education professor and educational researcher with a focus on teacher preparation programs and educational leadership. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of these areas with learning design and development for online courses. Through research and teaching, I aspire to contribute to the enhancement of both traditional and online learning experiences, preparing educators and leaders to thrive in an evolving educational landscape.

Outside the classroom

Gardening is a new hobby for me. Seeing something grow from a tiny seed to a healthy plant makes me feel calm and happy. It's a great break from school and work that lets me reconnect with nature and feel refreshed. Plus, it's satisfying to see the real effects of my work, which is a lot like educating others. In gardening, too, patience, care, and consistency pay off, just like they do in my career.
