I was awarded a Board of Trustees Award in 2019 that is a Thomas Board of Trustees Academic Scholarship. Which is competitive award that offers an extra tuition discount based on a student's academic accomplishments, a submitted essay, etc.

I was the LSU club's vice president during my first term at MC. Later, I rose to the position of president, and for my leadership in the club, I was awarded a Certificate of Recognition.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I'm currently pursuing a pre-nursing degree with a psychology minor with the goal of becoming a pediatric registered nurse after receiving my bachelor's degree in nursing. In order to become a pediatrician, I would then like to continue my studies and earn a master's or doctoral degree.
- Graduate school interests
After graduating from Sherwood High School in 2019, I began classes at Montgomery College Takoma Park in the fall of 2019. I completed most of my pre-nursing requirements two years ago and am now a sophomore transfer student at UMBC.
- Outside the classroom
Ever since I was young, music has always been my interest. I have always enjoyed listening to music and humming along to the songs of my favorite artists. As a result, I occasionally record cover songs and share them online. One of my favorite hobbies is gardening, and even though I don't have a spot for it, it helps me to relax (I discovered this hobby while taking a horticulture class in high school).
Additionally, I enjoy occasionally baking and binge-watching my favorite Netflix TV programs.
I work out whenever I have time, and I do a daily 7-minute workout thanks to the workout app I downloaded to my phone.
