My desire is to share my love and understanding for human compassion regardless of race, age, gender, religion, and culture differences. As I continue my journey I intend to continue doing my very best academically as I get closer to completing my degree. Furthermore to allow what I have learned to continue in my employment with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services-Medicaid.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended path is to work in the mental health field where I can provide services to individuals, couples, and families experiences coping, mental awareness, and family crisis; and to eventually open my own practice where I can incorporate counseling and medical case management services to individuals with catastrophic injuries.

Graduate school interests

My interest in grad school is based on why I found the need to further my career in counseling to be able to provide services to clients in a greater need especially when they are already working through issues related from injuries received on the job or from an accident. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University, starting June 2014 and prayerfully completing in 2018. My interest also helps when considering continuing my education in psychology for my doctorate studies, a master level education is required in order to continue my career and educational goals.

Outside the classroom

Travel, cooking, shopping, and spending quality time with my family.
