About
My name is Mariah Santos, I'm currently a student for Liberty University Online, and I am especially honored to have been selected as a member through this wonderful organization. I am very determined in anything that I do and am willing to learn new things from experiences, other people, and from my school. I also believe in putting the best effort that I am capable of into anything that I do, whether it's in my work place, family, school, or just helping other around me.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My future career that I wish to pursue is to counsel people who are struggling with addictions and to help them on the road to sobriety and full recovery. This stems from my past experiences with addicts and how I have seen the damage that could be done. And I want to help as many people I can in my hometown to overcome their addictions and to live in total freedom.
- Graduate school interests
I intend to get my bachelors degree in my field of study at the moment. But after that, depending on how it works out for me, I may strive for my master's in the future.
- Outside the classroom
I have a wide variety of hobbies that I have grown to love over the years. Singing has always been a big part of my life since I was a child, and I have grown to feel comfortable as well as feel that I have a talent for it. Music has also been a big part of my life as well, so I am self taught on playing the ukulele and will learn new songs, strum patterns, and chords any chance I get. I also really like to write short stories, poems, or even lyrics as a hobby.
