About

I enrolled at Capella University in August 2021 and plan to graduate with my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. This is my second semester at Capella, and I need to ask how to receive my current transcript.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Once I graduate and earn my license, I plan to work for a local counseling service and help my community. I live in a rural area, and mental health services are limited. I plan to one day offer an intensive marriage couple retreat where couples experiencing marital issues may attend and be provided a weekend to reestablish and improve their marriage relationship. The retreats will include small group discussions, couples’ therapy, and a time for the couple to go on dates and rekindle their romance.

Graduate school interests

Going back to graduate school will help me earn my degree to assist my community. I am a divorcee and would love the opportunity to help couples endure the challenges of being married.

Outside the classroom

I only have a few hobbies right now. I work full time, attend school full time, and have two daughters, who I share custody with their dad.
