Marie Koval

I am a later in life student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree of science in biology, and I intend to use this degree by entering into research. In addition, I will be seeking higher education concurrent to employment. My experiences prior to actively working toward my degree have prepared me for both school, and the workforce after. I have had the opportunity to not only travel a little bit, but also learn from employment in various fields skill sets such as interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, work ethic, efficacy of a team based environment, efficiency, as well as many other abilities that will translate to whatever I choose to do in the future. While it is true that I am not a typical undergraduate, I believe that the experiences and education that I have acquired thus far make me a well rounded individual, and therefore an asset to whatever team/employer that I am a part of.
