The highest award available at the Law Offices of Chavez & De Leon. This recognition attests to an intern’s legal ability, outstanding research skills, swift completion of tasks, and professional ethics.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to become a civil rights attorney and, afterwards, become a judge. After garnering experience, I will branch out into politics and obtain my judgeship. I have work experience through my internship at the Law Offices of Chavez & De Leon. I interned from June 2015 to August 2016 and received several awards and honors as a recognition of my accomplishments during my time there.

Graduate school interests

I began to attend the University of Florida at fourteen years old while simultaneously beginning 9th grade. I am now graduating high school in the summer of 2017 and will be a senior in college at the age of eighteen. Immediately after graduating, I plan to attend the Stanford Law School JD Program or the Harvard Law School JD Program.

Outside the classroom

While I have many hobbies, my favorite is acting. I attend acting class from 7 P.M. to 11 P.M at the Taller de Actuacion de Sebastian Ligarde Tuesday-Friday. I have been singing and playing the piano since the age of six. Every other Saturday, I attend a singing class where I perfect my technique and learn to sing new genres. I swim two to three times a week at the gym, something I've done since I discovered I had scoliosis at eleven years old. While at first I did not like it, disciplining myself into swimming is something that was invaluable for my growth and later translated to success in other aspects of my life. I learned how to truly commit to something and simply do it regardless of how difficult it may initially be.
