About
I have always found science intriguing, the beauty of it, is in part, to how multi-faceted it is; the integration of other scientific disciplines brings awareness to how they work in coordination to bring new investigations and knowledge of living systems. It was fascinating to learn and understand how collaborative forces work together in living systems, bringing new pieces of the grand puzzle of how life functions at the molecular level.
I have grown to realize that I am particularly interested in infectious and heredity diseases and how immune responses lead to the development of symptoms and disease. I came to UCLA and was accepted into the biomedical research minor. Infectious diseases particularly piqued my curiosity, how the invasion of the immune system leads to the development of symptoms and disease. It is my wish to eventually build a successful career that employs and develops applications in infectious disease research and treatment.
