Mark Fucanan

I am a well-rounded individual who learns directly from experience in order to be successful. I take pride in being an aspiring Prairie View Nurse in the Greater Houston Area. After I graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, I am determined to do what is necessary. My education comes from both school and the knowledge I have acquired throughout my life. Prior to nursing, I had a professional career as a choreographer/dancer and I managed a business that involves sales of clothing products and services. This experience was vital to shaping the skills I apply in nursing today. I acquired the ability to interact with people of different backgrounds/cultures, learn through instruction, and teach a variety of concepts because of my dance background. The business side of me helped improve my confidence in decision making, planning, and implementation. When I combine all these skills, I know I encompass a huge part of what I can be as an efficient and effective nurse. Above all, I care about what I do and what I am destined to become.
