About
My name is Marleny Orellana I'm from Honduras and I am 19 years old.
Since I was little I have learned to strive what would seem like the impossible. Living in a place where opportunities are scarce makes you really appreciate when doors start to open. Faced with a difficult challenge I decided take hold on things and keep moving.
In March 2019 I started attending Chamberlain High School, and with a lot of hard work I finished 11th grade in four months; I graduated from Chamberlain High School in 2020, my first language is Spanish and I am fluent in English. With great joy I received a note from Honor Society for obtaining a good academic performance.
I admit that it was difficult for me to face a new challenge but I did not take the credit alone, I had faith in God and the support of my boyfriend and my sister.
I continued studying a basic English course at HCC and decided to finish all 4 levels to maintain adequate level of English.
My goal is to continue my studies in English
To keep growing takes desire and contemplation. Society needs more help than excuses, and I want to be part of helping many future people who need it. When I was at Chamberlain High School I helped many students who had problems with English in the process I found what I loved to do so I asked myself the question Why not make a decision according to this?
I believe that we all have the ability and strength to take on a challenge and finish it successfully.
