About
During my time at Stratford High School, I have achieved several notable milestones, particularly in the arts. I graduated with Art Honors, reflecting my dedication and excellence in studio arts. I also became certified in Adobe Photoshop, which enhanced my skills in graphic design and digital art. My involvement in the National Art Honors Society and Digital Art Club allowed me to collaborate on creative projects and deepen my artistic abilities. Additionally, I participated in various extracurricular activities, including the Creative Writing Club and Knotty Knights (Knit and Crochet Club), further developing my creative and collaborative skills.
In parallel with my school achievements, I have been an active member of the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina from first grade through 12th grade. My most significant accomplishment was completing my Girl Scout Take Action Project, where I led an initiative to clean local waterways and parks, working with community members and organizations to promote environmental stewardship. Through Girl Scouts, I learned leadership, teamwork, and the importance of service, all of which have shaped my personal values and future goals.
Together, my school achievements and Girl Scout involvement have provided a strong foundation for my future aspirations in the arts and community service, driving me to continue making a positive impact.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to pursue a career as a professional artist and graphic designer. My passion lies in both studio arts and digital design, and I envision myself working in creative industries where I can merge traditional art techniques with modern design tools. Whether through freelance work or collaborating with design firms, I aim to create impactful art that communicates messages, inspires others, and addresses social and environmental causes.
In the long term, I aspire to earn a Master in Fine Art (MFA), which will allow me to explore new mediums, deepen my creative expression, and potentially teach or mentor aspiring artists. I am particularly interested in working on public art projects that bring attention to important social issues and contribute to community engagement.
Ultimately, my goal is to create art that not only stands out aesthetically but also serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue and positive change.
- Graduate school interests
I am deeply interested in pursuing graduate studies in Fine Arts, particularly with a focus on studio arts and graphic design. My passion for both traditional and digital art drives my desire to further refine my skills, explore new mediums, and expand my creative expression. Through a Master in Fine Arts (MFA) program, I aim to engage in intensive artistic practice, build a more diverse portfolio, and explore new techniques and conceptual approaches to art.
I am particularly drawn to graduate programs that emphasize both artistic innovation and community engagement. I want to explore how art can address social, environmental, and cultural issues, and create projects that make an impact beyond the studio. In addition to advancing my technical skills, I am eager to collaborate with other artists and learn from mentors who can challenge my creative boundaries.
A graduate program will also provide me with opportunities to develop my voice as an artist, preparing me for a career in the arts as a professional artist, graphic designer, or educator. My goal is to create art that not only resonates on an aesthetic level but also sparks meaningful conversations and inspires positive change in society.
