About

I am currently a stay at home mom and student. I take my education seriously and love to continue my path of learning. I graduated magna cum laude at Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelors of science in geosciences with a concentration in geospatial technology and a concentration in conservation and natural resources. I also have a minor in applied mathematics. I am continuing schooling to get my masters degree in Environmental Geosciences at Mississippi State University online.
I have a passion for the environment and earth sciences with a goal to increase awareness of these sciences and how they play a major part in all of our lives.

Goals and interests

Career goal

After I get my masters degree I would like to work in the field of hydrology, climate science, or environmental science to better the planet and improve human impact on the earth. I plane to move forward in school and get my PhD and eventually become a professor after working in the field. I would love to eventually work in volcanology, climate change, or environmental resources so my understanding of the world around us can grow. Eventually when I can become a professor I will use my experiences to help future geoscientists grow and love learning about the planet as much as I do.

Graduate school interests

I am currently working on my masters degree at Mississippi State University and have a large interest in environmental sciences, climate change, and hydrology. So far my professors have been amazing, as I am continuing to grow as a student and as a person to better understand the planet and the needs of the people that live here.
