Matias Tercero

My name is Matias Tercero. I am a data analytics student in Washington State University at Everett. I am the eldest of six children. I have attended Skagit Valley College and Everett Community College. Since I was thirteen, I have worked at my family business of automobile interior repair with my dad. My brother and I live in an apartment a few blocks away from my campus. My parents taught me the importance of hard work and striving to excel in life. These lessons made me into a diligent student who studies hard and maintains a high GPA. During my time at Skagit Valley College, I was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honers Society for my excellent grades. My mother is from Chile, so I understand some Spanish. During a human development class from the spring semester of 2020, my class volunteered to raise money for two humane societies. This experience taught me important communication and team work skills. One of my strongest passions is film, so I hope to apply my data analytics skills into the film industry.
