About
I graduated with a degree in Geology from the University of Houston on August 12th. I have oil and gas industry experience working in the oil fields of East Texas as a well site geologist with Border to Border Exploration. My duties consisted of analyzing rock cuttings to determine stratigraphic formations as well as monitoring well equipment. Furthermore, I assisted the exploration team in the Austin office by interpreting seismic data as well as managing the database. I also managed the scheduling of geologists in the field.
I worked as an research assistant on the Caribbean Basin, Tectonic, and Hydrocarbon Project at the University of Houston while pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. As a research assistant, I researched geologic journals and interpreted seismic data. I used this information to update the database and create maps using ArcGIS software.
