About

Hello, my name is Matthew A. Miller III, and I am a faith driven high school scholar. I enjoy football, video games, community service, spending time with my family, and learning something new every day. During my academic journey, I have learned to appreciate subjects such as math, history, science, finance, political affairs, engineering, and business. As you can see, I have an interest in many professional industries.

As a high school student at Charlotte Teaching Early College; it was my first American History course with Dr. Higham that made me want to work diligently completely both my high school and associate degree with integrity and honors. I was a high school student sitting in college courses excelling and I wanted to learn more. I wanted to find a 4-year university to complete my bachelor’s degree in history. A 4-year university that focused on student community involvement, high academics, and moral ethics. A 4-year university that took pride in team spirit and alumni involvement. A 4-year university that would challenge me expand my academic portfolio, define my international awareness, and nurture my growth process. I want to attend a university that will cultivate a well-rounded student, who will give back to the community, mentor the younger generation to follow, and ignite my next academic journey. I am a scholar who will find ways to challenge myself academically. I am a scholar who enjoys the betterment of myself, people, and the community.
