Matthew Valeiras

I am enrolled in Florida State University’s online MBA program, the same university that I received my bachelor’s degree back in 2014. Currently, I reside in Miami, Florida with my beautiful Wife, working for HCA healthcare. Working out of the East Florida Division, I am the Director of Physician and Provider Relations for Neuroscience and Orthopedics in the Miami-Dade Market. I am taking on the challenge of completing my MBA to be considered to participate in HCA’s Executive Leadership program, which an MBA is a prerequisite. The medical sector has been a part of my family for a long time now. My father has been a medical device representative for the last 20 years. Before entering that industry, he was an athletic trainer for a few high schools in South Florida as well as Florida International University. That being a part of my childhood gave me a purpose to go out and contribute, in any form, to our countries healthcare system. Coming out of my undergraduate worked as a medical device representative in the Miami area. After a few years I realized that being on that side of medicine I realized it would take a lot longer to achieve my goals. That is when I decided that working with a major healthcare provider is exactly where I needed to be.
