About
My name is Matthew Williams II and I am an African American male. I am very much involved in my community and I have a passion to help and encourage people. I divide my community service time between aiding the employees at the Sage Point Nursing Center in LaPlata Maryland, and at my local church home in Upper Marlboro Maryland. I always encourage my classmates to put forth their best efforts in everything they do because I want them to have many options in life and become successful citizens.
I currently attend the College of Southern Maryland. My educational goal is to transfer to a prestigious four-year university or college after I obtain my Associate degree and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in theology with a minor in theater.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Professionally, I would like to become an educator, preferably a drama and religious teacher, at the high school and collegiate levels for a parochial institution. I want to teach to teach students about the bible and show them the philosophical and the theological truths about the revelation of God and Jesus Christ. I want my future students to understand the history and knowledge of theater and how theater can help them better themselves emotionally.
Overall, my goal in life is to build up anyone who comes across my path. One of the greatest gifts I could receive is for someone to say, “It is because of Mr. Williams that I am the man or woman that I am today. It is because of him that I did not give up on my dream or throw in the towel, and walk away from it all when people told me to”.- Outside the classroom
