Prior to starting PA school at Heritage University, Maureen graduated from Metropolitan State University where she earned a BA of Science in Nursing. After completing her Associate degree in nursing in 2010, Maureen worked as a registered nurse in various departments in hospitals, long-term care facilities and group homes for five years. Maureen volunteered at mission trips, feed my starving children and with Allina Hospitals and Clinics. In time outside school and work she enjoys staying active, travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
