Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to start teaching again once I graduate from graduate school. I am also pursuing to open my own shelter for the homeless, abused women, men and children. I have taught over 22 years, so I am seeking funds for my nonprofit organization. I have always been a leader throughout my life and assisting several communities financially, spiritually and mentally. I am an advocate for children and battered women. I have been a ghost writer for several children's books, so soon I will start writing my own books.

Graduate school interests

I will be graduating in Summer 2017 with my doctorate in Reading, Human Resource Administration and STEM.

Outside the classroom

Just to name a few, reading the Holy Bible is my life. Without God, I am nothing. Next, Teaching has always been an interest of mine for a long time. I started out by tutoring my friends when I was very young in reading and Social Studies. I have assisted new teachers that needed to pass their teacher board certification and how to become successful teachers in the classroom. I have always been active in my church as well, so I have always dedicated myself to assisting spiritually, financially and demonstrating to others how to always be an asset and not a liability in other people's lives. I personally feel that Creativity is a blessing. I always come up with games, food recipes and interior decorating for schools and homes. I love to shop, entertain, cook and travel with my husband and family.
