About
Hello! My name is Maya Arellano, and I am pursuing a degree in Arts, Technology, and Communication with a concentration in Animation at the University of Texas at Dallas.
As a high school senior, I acted as the Vice President and Co-Founder of the The Animation Club, the first official club at the CTE (Center of Technology and Education). I produced two student short films ("Zombies in a Nutshell" and "Taken for Granite") in which I contributed in by acting, animating, and writing.
Currently at university, I am studying 3D Character Animation, and I am passionate about using this skill to share mine and others' voices through storytelling. I believe that through my art I can make a difference and advocate for change, and with hard work and consideration, I am always willing to go the extra mile and achieve those goals.
