About
I am a current graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Counselor Education program, on the School Counseling track. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management from VCU in 2016. Since that time, I have contributed to my community by working with both children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral diagnoses. As a Registered Behavior Technician, I worked in the homes of a diverse group of families one-on-one with their children. During my time as a Therapeutic Day Treatment Specialist, I worked in Title 1 Elementary Schools providing behavioral supports. Most recently, I was a Case Manager/Service Coordinator at Chesterfield County with a caseload of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

School Counseling in public education, while also utilizing personal interests in Special Education field. Plans to also obtain LPC credentials.

Multicultural counseling, trauma-informed counseling, data collection and analyzing, discussions on systemic issues, community outreach and resources, advocacy, neurodiversity/developmental disabilities, and at-risk populations.
