Hello everyone, my name is Meah Lewis, and I am a biochemistry major at Texas Wesleyan University. I am very passionate about my degree/future career and appreciate the assistance that Honor Society offers towards those goals.

I have received Dean's List awards for all four of my current semesters at Texas Wesleyan University, as I have maintained a GPA above or equal to 3.5 for each semester.

I am unsure if this qualifies for this exact award name, but I am a 2024 and 2025 Robert A. Welch Summer Research recipient.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to work as a research scientist with a focal point around immunological conditions. I myself was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome at sixteen and hope to enter the medical field with intentions of helping others with conditions similar to mine.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently undecided on a graduate school, but I do want to pursue my master's degree and Doctorate upon receiving my Bachelor's. I have thought about pursuing an M.D, P.H.D but am unsure if this is the path for me. I would heavily appreciate anyone who went either of these routes offering advice or perspective.
- Outside the classroom
Some of my hobbies include reading, drawing, and volleyball. I played volleyball for several years growing up, including both club teams and school teams. Now, I just play recreationally as I focus on college.
