About

I am a small town girl from the Texas Panhandle.I graduated from high school at Groom ISD, and chose to further my education by attending West Texas A&M University. I push myself to accomplish the high goals I have set for myself, some of which include: graduating with a 4.0 GPA, getting accepted into one of the top ten PT schools in the U.S., becoming actively involved in at least three campus organizations, and to never become too comfortable in the same place.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently an undergraduate student attending West Texas A&M University. I plan on graduating in May, 2017 with my bachelors in Health Sciences. I hope to use this degree to help me get accepted into a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. I hope to incorporate my love for science and my love for helping others into the field of physical therapy where I can use my knowledge and skills to improve the lives of others.

Graduate school interests

After I graduate with my Bachelors of Science in May, 2017, I hope to attend one of the following Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs; Army-Baylor, University of Delaware, University of Iowa, University of Florida, Texas Women's University, Texas State University, UT Galveston, UT San Antonio, Texas Tech University, or Angelo State.

Outside the classroom

Outside of work and school, I like to spend my time in a variety of ways. I love to stay active to keep myself physically fit by going to the gym, or running around my neighborhood. I also like to test my creativity by perfecting different crafting skills like crochet, painting, and sewing. I also love a to read a good fantasy fiction novel when I have the time. I love taking on new challenges, and seeing what else I can discover about myself in the process.
