About
I am a first-year undergraduate honors student at San Jose State University majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science. My goal is to go to Graduate School and become a Doctor of Physical Therapy so I can fulfill my dream of making a lifelong impact on people every day. Through hospital volunteering, I discovered my love for the science of the human body and how amazing the healing process can be. My passion for rehabilitation only grew when I shadowed my high school’s athletic trainer for 2 years; watching a patient experience the mechanism of injury and shaping their progress all the way to recovery was the most captivating and influential aspect of my time there and what led my to my dream of being a Physical Therapist.

I intend to pursue Graduate School and earn my DPT so I can fulfill my dream of becoming a physical therapist.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, as well as focus on personal interests. Given my major is kinesiology, fitness and exercise are a huge part of my life, so I almost always do some sort of physical activity to stay healthy and sharp. A few things I would most likely be out doing would be hiking, jogging, or my absolute favorite: surfing. Whenever my parents are home, I'm always trying to get them to exercise with me, whether it me hiking the hills by our house, taking the dog around the block, or putting a workout video on the TV we can just have fun with. Recently, I have found a love of healthy and clean cooking, so I've taken to trying new recipes for my family to try. I especially love spending time with my dog; he's old but active and loves spending time in the backyard with me while I exercise or do some landscaping.
